Working to Shop

That's how I feel my life has been and I'm not complaining! I have been working ALOT of hours lately but I have been trying to get the most of my downtime by exploring and shopping.

I know I left my last post saying I was headed to Disney Springs for shopping, and shopping I did! Keep in mind as a cast member I receive 40% of Disney merchandise until February 16. I would be crazy to not take advantage... Right? The bus dropped me off at Saratoga Springs Resort and I arrived to Disney Springs in style by taking the Disney ferry. It was beautiful day and 28 degrees so my first stop was World of Disney where I bought a new sweater and scouted out future purchases before heading to Disney Pins and beginning my obsession with pins. Disney does pins best so I HAD to get a couple of pins. One pin of my favourite character George Sanderson (google him right now if you don't know) and a Epcot Canada pavilion pin because obviously! And how do you display such pins without getting a cute crossbody bag? Anyways enough said to know that it's a good thing ive been working so many hours!

Before my shift on Tuesday, Carmen and I headed to Epcot to explore as guests and try more Festival of the Arts food before it comes to end this week. I had the mushroom risotto that needed more salt and a cute dessert trio that I enjoyed but didn't love. I was also able to finally ride the charming Frozen ride in the Norway pavilion with hyper realistic animatronic characters.

In more horrifying news I was cleaning my room yesterday and came across my first cockroach! LUCKILY it was already dead or who knows what I would have done. It probably would still be living in my room rent free. I accediently touched it thinking it was a fluff and gasped loud enough I'm surprised it wasn't heard in Kelowna. Now I'm just hoping that's the last one I ever see.

Next week I have a couple of 11.5 hour shifts where I'll pretty much be living at work so wish me luck.
