We Need to Catch Up

Hi! How have you been? It's been far too long since we've caught up. I'm sorry for that. There's no better time than now to get you updated with how everything's been going down here...

I've been enjoying having my final roomate move out last week and having a soild week and a half with just myself. Today is my last day of pure relaxation though as tomorrow at least one roomate moves in. I will keep you posted on that outcome. The weather here has been HOT and HUMID! It's rained almost everyday yet hot rain. During the mid 30 degree weather the rain will come and make you feel sticky and weird before the sun comes back out. Today is considered cold with the high being 29 degrees!

Work has been continuing to go well. I'm still living with the lowest senority title meaning my shifts continue to be mainily in the evening. But get this, I have a 8:00pm-2:30am shift next week... Wish me luck.

Unfortunantly I've been adjusting to one of my closest friends here Alaisha leaving her program early and heading back home to Saskatchewan. This has been a tough pill to swallow and definitely left a bit of a hole in the pavilion. My days off have also now changed to Friday/Saturdays without any of my friends so I've been entertaining my self by spending too much time at Disney Springs shopping and going to the movies. I went and watched Challengers yesterday. Not my favourite but I'm still glad I went out of my comfort zone to head out for a solo movie date.

I was able to see the Canadian band Simple Plan play in Epcot. They played three 30 minuete sets over the course of about 2.5 hours. I stayed with a few of the Canadian pavilion cast and we were able to secure very good viewing spots for the last two sets. It was so much fun even though I didnt know many of their songs. The main singer came into the crowd about 10 feet from where I was standing!

Between Universal Studios park days, going out for lunch, actually getting chores done and riding Gaurdians of the Galaxy, it's amazing how much you can get done before work!
