Productive Day

January 9 - Today was a day of shopping and cleaning. Heading out to both Costco and Walmart consisted of navigating through a windy and rainy freeway through my first tornado storm warning to pick up everything you could imagine I would need to outfit my bedroom/bathroom and stock up my pantry and kitchen supplies. Everything from cleaning products, linens, olive oil, pillows, and everything in between, the collective 3.5 hours spent shopping was nothing more than tiring.

Heading back to my apartment I was able to finally meet my first roommate! Diana from Puerto Rico works in the Magic Kingdom at a quick service cart and was able to quickly show me the ropes of my apartment before heading out for her shift. I have my own designated pantry and fridge space. So far no complaints and everyone seems very friendly.

My parents and I scrubbed my bathroom and bedroom completely clean while heavy rain, loud thunder and bright lightning ripped through the cloudy skies. Now my room is almost completely ready! Only a couple more things to make it perfect. Stay tuned for photos of the finished product, hopefully tomorrow!
