No, Truffle was not snuck onto the plane, but even considering missing my favourite member of the family this past week has been one of my favourites so far!
Mom, Dad and Cole came down to visit me and we were able to experience all four parks plus more during that time. Mom and Cole arrived on February 28 and fortunately I had the next two days off so we started on Thursday in Hollywood Studios where we explored Galaxy's Edge and rode every ride we wanted in the park. The lines flew by while we all told stories and caught up. Against my will I even rode Tower of Terror. A horrible drop ride that only weirdos like, making it one of Cole's favourites. We ended the night watching the nighttime show in the park Fantasmic and enjoying popcorn.
Friday was all about Magic Kingdom. The busiest park of them all we navigated through the crowds and rode our favourite ride Big Thunder twice. The main attraction of Magic Kingdom is the new Tron motorcycle thrill ride where you mount a motorbike and rip through a fast track outdoors and indoors making it Magic Kingdom's most intense ride by far.
After two super busy days in a row I was looking forward to Dad arriving, but of course Westjet had different plans and delayed his flight then re-routed him through Toronto making him loose about 15 hours with us. When he did finally arrive, rental car in tow, we hopped in and rode to Disney Springs for an evening of shopping. What a surprise I did more shopping than anyone else but Cole did buy a cute shirt. We ate dinner at my favourite spot Summerhouse on the Lake, before Dad spoiled us to Cirque Du Soleil tickets for Drawn to Life. A collaboration between Disney and Cirque. It was a very good show with acrobats, dancing, and Cole's favourite juggling.
No trip to Disney is complete without a visit to Epcot's best attraction, Canada Far and Wide. I don't believe I'm being biased because I had three lovely guests visit me while at work, take pictures and cheer while I did my spiel . Granted they are related to me. Having Mom, Dad and Cole watch me at work was fun. They got to meet some of my fellow cast members, finally see me in action at work and watch the movie I get to watch multiple times a day. I worked the fireworks that night so they found me before the fireworks began and I placed them in a good viewing spot where I could chat (I mean work), while they watched my favourite Disney nighttime spectacular, Luminous.
We ended the whirlwind week in the chilliest park of them all Animal Kingdom, rode the Safari twice and the rollercoaster Everest. Dad treated us again with dinner at Boma in Animal Kingdom Lodge. This buffet style restaurant was one of our favourites 16 years ago when I was only in Kindergarten and I must say it is still delicious!
Everyone got home safely last night after a long day of flying. Of course it's sad saying bye but time does go by quickly here and before I know it they will be back. I am very grateful for how much time off I was able to have this past week and the amount of stuff we got done. I had lots of fun and I think they all did too.
Plus I can't complain, while I write this it's a scorching 30 degrees out and I have some Bachelor to catch up on.
Sending love <3
xoxo

I'm laughing to myself while trying to caption this. The photo speaks for itself. Cole is crazy.
I hope I finally redeemed myself from 12 years ago when I chickened out from Tower of Terror and Cole never forgave me.
The Tron motorbike is behind us and yes, Cole and I are matching and not on purpose but I love it.
Where I say "Hi welcome, come on in, our next show is in ______ minutes" with Aliasha and Lauren outside a classic Canadian log cabin.
Just another guest asking for a picture with a real life Canadian in the flesh.
Yes, dad recorded the entire spiel. No I don't think I will ever be able to handle watching it.
A couple of cool dudes enjoying our last day in the parks at Animal Kingdom.

It was a lot of fun in a short trip. More fun to come in June🎉
We all had a great time. I can’t believe how much we got in, considering how short the time was there! Looking forward to doing it again in June.
