I decided to spend 14 hours yesterday in the Disney parks and even with blisters, a sore back and a slight sunburn, I regret NOTHING! Amber and I decided to try and complete a coveted task... All 4 parks in one day.

The rules in each park

  1. Meet a character

  2. Ride a attraction

  3. Eat a snack

  4. Watch a show Sounds easy enough in theory but once in the thick of things it takes a lot of willpower to stay on track, seek out the shortest lines and move onto the next park.

We started in Hollywood Studios, picked up a special Star Wars themed cold brew topped with cocoa puffs and waited in line for Mickey and Minnies Runaway Railaway. Once both those events were checked off, we headed over to Indiana Jones Stunt Show Spectacular and ended with meeting the charachter with the shortest line, Fro-Zone. The most random side charachter, I loved it.

Still eager and motivated, we moved onto Epcot and b-lined to Figments Imagination ride with the hope of meeting Figment at the exit of the ride. Instead we witnessed what looked to be about a 45 minuete line and decided to opt out and walk across the hallway to meet Joy from Inside-Out. I felt bad for joy who practically had no line but she was still full of... you guessed it... Joy. I had garlic corn before we made our way to Magic Kingdom, the busiest and most chaotic park we powered through the mid 30 degree weather and began with my favourite ride in Magic Kingdom, Big Thunder Railway. We snacked on a chocolate dipped banana right before participating in a dance off show with Clarabelle Cow. Amber and I WERE the show as we hookie pookied through the streets of main street. An iconic moment I thought I was about to be transfered out of the Canada Pavilion and into a Disney entertainer role. Meeting characters in Magic Kingdom requires patience. The lines are HUGE, but we mangaed a 35 minuete wait to meet Cinderella.

Yesterday also happened to be the bi-annual program celebration at Animal Kingdom. Open for all Disney's College and International participants, this after hours event means little lines, free food and such a fun time! Amber and I made our way over to Animal Kingdom at 7:00pm, collected our wristband and food coupons and made our way over to Avators Pandora for dinner and rode Flight of Passage with absolutly no line! We met up with our fellow Canadians for the rest of the night, met Timon and Rafiki and rode both Expedition Everest and Dinosaur twice! The last time we rode Dinosaur they kept the lights on so we could see a lot more of the annamotronics and how they actually look. It was quite funny seeing just heads of Dinosaurs with no bodies lurch towards our vehicle. Plus all the fake plants glued to the walls. Not what I expected the track to look like, it was almost a mini backstage tour! The final step to offically complete 4 parks one day was watching It's Tough to be a Bug and finishing off with a Mickey Ice-cream sandwich!

Such a fun night exploring Animal Kingdom with such few people around, I'm already excited for the next program celebration! Yesterday was so great and another "I can't belive I actually live here" day. Who knows what next week will bring but I'm so excited to find out!

See ya real soon <3
