February 1- Today was a super busy day. It was my day off which means that myself and a couple of girls from work decided to get the most out of the day by heading out to three parks!
It all started at Epcot in morning when we strolled around the World Showcase and headed on a couple rides. This was my first time actually visiting Epcot as a guest so I had a lot of fun exploring the different country pavilions I haven't explored yet. Mexico is one of my favourites because you feel like you've transported to an evening at the Mayan Ruins when you enter. We rode a gentle river ride swirling throughout the restaurant and shops. A great people watching ride.
Once we arrived at the America pavilion we took an Art of Animation class, where we learned how to draw Flounder from A Little Mermaid by an actual Disney animator. Needless to say the lack of erasers and the time crunch left my Flounder looking like he ran into one too many gadgets and gizmos ;)
The biggest and newest ride in Epcot is the Guardians of the Galaxy ride. I chickened out of going on it last minute as I figured my motion sickness would seriously wreck me for the day.
Next on the agenda was Animal Kingdom. Even though we arrived at Animal Kingdom later in the day, we somehow managed to complete a lot! We raced over to the Safari ride (a fan favourite) and got up close and personal with ostriches and friendly giraffes.
We also rode an almost extinct ride (literally) Dinosaur which will be leaving sometime this year. It's an original ride to Animal Kingdom and is an extremely jerky and crazy ride through a "herd", "flock", "gaggle" of Dinos.
Our third and final event of the day was at Hollywood Studios for their nighttime show Fantasmic, a water and light show with all of Disneys original characters. We headed into a massive outdoor theatre with a capacity of 10,000 for my very first Fantasmic. It was quite good and it felt a bit like a broadway performance with the characters doing stunts, singing and dancing.
February 2- Today was my other day off and I felt like taking it a bit more easy but also not rotting in my room, so I tiredly got up out of bed and enjoyed a relaxing morning having breakfast and FaceTiming Dad. I then took the bus out to Walmart for my weekly grocery haul as the Target close by is quite a bit more expensive.
Once I got home my roommate Meghan and I headed out to Disney Springs for lunch. We went to my favourite Disney Springs restaurant Summer House on the Lake and enjoyed a delicious late lunch/early dinner.
The rest of my evening is about to be pure bliss. Getting into bed and starting the new season of the Bachelor with popcorn. Sounds lovely.
Happy February

Flounders cute but who's the bodyguard behind us?
Lunch in Morocco consisted of delicious bread and dips
A beautiful day at the Tree of Life in Animal Kingdom
I understand this gorilla completely
The final sequence in Fantasmic with Steamboat Willy and everyones favourite characters. I think this was the best part of the show.

You sure packed in a lot on your 2 days off! You’re ending it perfectly by watching the Bachelor😉
